Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Who is responsible

Oleg Peresvet ATELIER (“the Atelier”), the wood carving studio of Oleg Peresvet based in Orihuela, Alicante, Spain, is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach the Atelier at contact@olegperesvetatelier.com.

2. What data is collected

  • Messages you send — your name, email address, subject and message when you use the contact form or write by email.
  • WhatsApp — when you start a conversation via the WhatsApp link, your communication is handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under its own privacy policy.
  • Analytics data — only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. See Cookies and analytics.
  • Technical data — like any website, the hosting and delivery providers process your IP address and browser information to serve pages securely.

3. Why data is collected

  • To respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential commission — legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) if a commission proceeds.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (Google Analytics) — legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and working — legal basis: legitimate interest.

Your data is never sold or rented, and it is not used for advertising.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to measure visits. Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are stored; Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (such as a page view without any identifier) through Google Consent Mode.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years. Set only with consent.
  • _ga_<ID> — keeps the state of the current visit. Expires after 2 years. Set only with consent.
  • cookie-consent (browser storage, not a cookie) — remembers your choice so the banner is not shown again. Strictly necessary; contains no personal data.

IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4, and advertising features are disabled. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; see how Google uses data.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. Storage and retention

Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer your inquiry and, if a commission follows, for the period required by Spanish tax and accounting law. All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

6. Third-party services

  • Google Analytics — website statistics, with your consent. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — delivers contact form messages to the Atelier's inbox. Messages pass through Resend's servers (United States) only to be delivered. See Resend Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — protects the contact form from spam. It checks technical signals from your browser (such as IP address and browser characteristics) to tell people from bots, and does not use them for advertising. See Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Cloudflare — delivery of video content. Cloudflare processes limited technical data (such as IP addresses) to provide its service. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — if you choose to contact the Atelier via WhatsApp. See WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
  • Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest — links to these platforms open their own websites, which have their own privacy policies. No social media plugins or trackers are embedded on this site.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data held about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) at aepd.es.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@olegperesvetatelier.com or use the contact page.

8. Visitors from the United States

The Atelier does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information using the contact details above, and you will not be treated differently for doing so.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
