Carved
Frames

Hand-carved wooden frames for mirrors, paintings and artworks. Each mirror frame and picture frame is carved in solid hardwood such as walnut or iroko, made to measure and designed around the piece it holds — from Norse and Celtic ornament to landscapes and animals in relief.

CARVED FRAME

Palma de Mallorca Mirror Frame

A carved walnut mirror frame depicting the bay of Palma de Mallorca — sailing boats in the foreground, the silhouette of La Seu Cathedral rising above the old town, and the Tramuntana mountains behind. The scene wraps around all four sides of the frame in one continuous relief, turning a wall mirror into a Mediterranean landscape carved in wood.

CARVED FRAME

Norse Mythology Frame

A carved wooden frame depicting scenes from Norse mythology — Jörmungandr, the World Serpent, winds through Celtic knotwork while Thor rides his goat-drawn chariot. Deep sculptural carving in solid iroko, made to hold a mirror, a painting or a print in a Viking-inspired interior.

CARVED FRAME

Ethereal Wolf Mirror Frame

A Norse-inspired wooden mirror frame with Celtic knotwork running along all four sides and a carved medallion in each corner — a wolf's head, the Vegvísir (the Viking compass), the Ægishjálmur (Helm of Awe) and a triquetra. Along the lower rail, a wolf family crosses a mountain landscape in low relief.

CARVED FRAME

Ragnarök Frame

A monumental carved frame telling the story of Ragnarök, the final battle of Norse mythology, in high relief — Fenrir devouring the sun, Jörmungandr coiled along the top rail, and Viking warriors with shields clashing along the base, all bound together by Celtic interlace. A statement frame for a large mirror or artwork.

RELIEF PANEL

Horse in the Stable

A carved wood relief panel of a horse resting its head over a stable door. The mane, weathered planks and strap hinges are carved in layered depth so the horse seems to lean out of the wall — equestrian wall art for a country home, a tack room or a horse lover's collection.

RELIEF PANEL

Horse Eye

A carved wooden relief of a horse's eye beneath a fall of forelock. Each strand of hair is carved separately and lifted from the surface, set against the smooth, softly modeled curve of the face — a quiet, close-up piece of equestrian art for the wall.
